DECEMBER 2009 -- Courtney, Senior 2010

Hiiillo there, kiddos! Did you have a lovely Christmas? Yes? Good.

Time to get down to business! Remember Erin back from November? Well I recently had the pleasure of shooting her twin sister's senior pictures. Courtney is beeeeautiful and has freaking dreadlocks!

I saw this pile of mashed up boxes in the Walgreen's parking lot and was STOKED and knew we had to put it to good use.

She is such a lovely person on the inside, but also on the outside. I mean, LOOK AT HER

I had such a fun time on this session. We shot behind a bridge/trash pile, Walgreen's, and in the middle of a neutral ground on a busy shoot. Oh and at a park....with ducks.....and I chased them.

i love em all! and i love my new friend ryan. it's kind of a bummer though, she lost her voice and was unable to speak much during our whole shoot. haha.

DECEMBER 2009 -- Jeremy Cowart Photography Workshop

hello! i just spent the weekend at jeremy cowart's photography workshop in franklin, TN. i went not knowing what to expect, and left feeling invigorated and excited to develop my vision/direction as a photographer. since the workshop my hands have been itching to hold a camera, and i've never been so excited as i am about my upcoming shoots? i'm going back to my roots with experimentation.

i'm extremely appreciative that jeremy gave us this opportunity to learn from him. it was a blessing. after this weekend i've decided to run full speed ahead with this. more about that later... okay, here's some images from the weekend. we shot a new young model named ashley. she was great.

DECEMBER 2009 -- Liz, Senior 2010

it's been a few weeks, whoops! so, amanda suggested i update the blog (a.k.a. she called me a booger brain), and here i am.

liz called me up and said she would be driving down from shreveport (5 hours away) this past weekend to see a show in new orleans, and asked if i could squeeze a shoot in.

we only had about 30 minutes to photograph before the sun disappeared -- super quick shoot with my ISO settings way up. yuck.

anyway, on to the photos!
