Ashley -- 2011 Senior

It's the 3rd of February, and it is OH so cold! But luckily, this weekend while taking Ashey's senior pictures, it was a cloudy 65 degrees. She's a friend of mine, and I was honored when Ashley approached me OVER a year ago (waaay in advance, haha!) about taking her senior photos.

We actually had to postpone shooting multiple times due to sickness/bad weather, but I'm so glad we were finally able to do them. I love how they came out! Ashley has got a great big, fun, sassy personality, (and she's beautiful!!) and I think these pictures reflect that. Take a peak!

Hello!
I hope you all had a delightful holiday spent with family and friends, or doing whatever makes you happy!
I returned to New Orleans a week ago, and have been enjoying my time here. Now I'm settling into a little groove, beginning to edit sessions I did before Christmas.

Here's a peak at a shoot I did with a new friend, Lea, while I was in Tyler, TX two weeks ago:




















Yuh! :) I'll be in New Orleans for another week and a half, then it's back to Texas, and then to Baton Rouge in time for the beginning of the spring semester on January 18th.

Katie - Senior 2011

Good morning!
I can hardly believe it is already December, can you? This year has flown past me. Gahhlleee!

Anyway. This past weekend I had the pleasure of reuniting with an old friend from my elementary homeschool days, Katie, to shoot her senior pictures! We used to be so silly together, and it was fun to hang out again. :)

Stacey & Andrew - Family shoot

Happy Tuesday!
Why do I always seem to blog when only the night owls are awake? Hmm...

Last Wednesday I photographed my cousin and her son. It's become an annual tradition, this is the fourth year in a row that we've taken pictures in time for Christmas. Those of you who have been following me for a while may remember their photos from last year. I can't believe how much bigger Andrew is now. Crazy.

Aaaaand here we go:










Their dog, Lily, joined for a few pictures. She's half Golden Retriever and half Poodle -- apparently that's called a "Golden-doodle." To me, she should be called a wookie! She's like a sweet, cutey walking carpet. ;)



Andrew brought along his skateboard for a few shots. He was really good at it, too!
