Just a little self exploration.

So, I've had the past 4 days off work for the Mardi Gras holiday. It was a welcome break filled with painting, reading, cleaning, reorganizing, and just, breathing and resting. I didn't go to any parades or participate in any Mardi Gras festivities. I stayed home and relaxed.

During the break I did a series of self portraits, for the first time in a looong time.





























Some other little projects I did include gluing rocks on top of each other... hehe.



And I painted this! It's part 1, there will be a part 2 coming soon.



Inspiration

Watched this film over break, it is absolutely beautiful.



Also, I just discovered the music of Jesse Cook. Today this album has been on repeat.



Alright, tomorrow I have to wake up bright and early (5am) for work. Nighty, friendos. :)
